88:88 – A Better Short Film Than Most Regular Films [Video]

I just stumbled across this indie film titled 88:88 and I gotta say that it has more suspense and great film quality than some of the movies playing in theaters today.

Right now the short film is making the rounds of the various film festivals but you can watch it here and I am pretty sure you won’t regret it.

From the film page:

Val has lost control of her life. Those around her deny the reality of the extraordinary experiences she feels powerless against. Realizing she must stand alone, she has only one remaining option – to find a way to fight back.

Also if you like the soundtrack (which I did) it by Makeup and Vanity Set and you can preview all the music at SoundCloud or buy the soundtrack at Bandcamp (which I am going to do).

About the Author

Steven has been around the tech world long enough to see most of the stuff we think of cool happen before which leads to a certain bit of cynicism that has contributed to him being known as the cranky old fart of the Internet. Besides sharing some of the goodness that he finds with you here at 42x you can also find him curating some digital goodness at Winextra (tech type stuff) and Rotten Gumdrops (for your daily dose of WTF).
