Who Knew That Granny Was Such A Gamer

One of the things about the proliferation of so-called ‘social games’ is that they are actually pretty simple to play and being as colorful as they are it makes them easier visually to play. So I guess that it should come as no surprise really that one of the largest growing segments of the the whole ‘social gaming’ demographic are the 50 and over group.

In fact, according to a new study conducted by AssistedLivingToday, it appears that between 2009 and 2011 the number of senior aged Internet users grew by over 150% with much of that being attracted by the growth of so-called ‘granny games’ from companies like Zynga.

This infographic was put together by NowSourcing based on the study by AssistedLivingToday.
