The Fakery Behind All Those Huge Twitter Follower Numbers [Infographic]
Well color me surprised. It seems that not all those thousands and in some cases millions of followers on Twitter are <gasp> real people, the question is – just how bad is the number of fake accounts on Twitter.
This is the question that the folks at Social Selling University wanted to find out and with the help of the team at NowSourcing bring some light onto the situation with a handy dandy infographic; but here’s one factoid to give you an idea of how prevalent this problem is on Twitter. Chances are you are more likely to interact with a fake Twitter account than a real one and those odds increase with both your popularity and the one’s you are following.
