Watch As Mother Dolphin Gives Birth – Nature Is Amazing [Video]
On Monday the folks at Dolphin Quest let the world know that Keo the dolphin had finally given birth to her calf and they did it the most awesome of ways – with a video of the event. This is what the Dolphin Quest folks had to say about it:
It’s the first baby for proud dolphin mom, 12-year-old Keo. Dolphin Quest trainers were in the water during the dolphin birth to observe and comfort the new dolphin mom. Dolphins Pele (the new baby’s grandmother) and Noelani (the baby’s aunt) were also in the Dolphin Quest lagoon to keep Keo company.

What I found incredible is how Keo allowed the humans in the tank with her to hold her or even be there for the birth – amazing.
