Your Childhood Horrifying Enough? Be Thankful You Didn’t Have These Cereal Boxes

In our digital age it would seem that nothing is sacrosanct, not even our childhood memories of spending our mornings reading cereal boxes.

Thanks to a new series of digital paintings by Guillermo Fajardo titled “Breakfast Time” we know how thankful we should be that marketing executives were snorting coke instead of trying to intentionally terrify future generations. The series includes Fajardo’s re-imagining of Tony the Tiger, Cap’n Crunch, Trix rabbit, and Count Chocula.

Not sure which one terrifies me more – how about you?

About the Author

Steven has been around the tech world long enough to see most of the stuff we think of cool happen before which leads to a certain bit of cynicism that has contributed to him being known as the cranky old fart of the Internet. Besides sharing some of the goodness that he finds with you here at 42x you can also find him curating some digital goodness at Winextra (tech type stuff) and Rotten Gumdrops (for your daily dose of WTF).
