Yup, it’s confirmed, we’re a nation of fat people [Infographic]
As someone with a grandson suffering from obesity (and yes I know exactly where to place the blame) this fattening of our society is a scary proposition. Back when I smoked and the war against smokers was in full force I often said, and still do, that is we think smokers are having a rough time wait until the do-gooders turn their attention to the obese.
The problem is that obesity is the harbinger of some many other diseases and can be a dangerous path to find oneself on especially for our children. In light of President Obama’s statements in this year’s SOTU address the folks at Anytime Fitness have put together an informative, and scary, infographic called Weight of the Union 2.0.
