Vanity Plate Costing Florida Woman $8,000
Here is a simple rule when forking over the cash for those vanity plates – don’t get overly cutesy or clever because it might just come back to bite you on the ass.
Take the case of one Florida woman who thought it would be a cool idea to get “NOTAG” as her license plate, wt least that was until she found herself with $8,000 in parking tickets. You see in the state of Florida “NO TAG” is what the police write on a citation when an illegally parked vehicle has no licence plate.
DUH!
Of course you would think that the city of Jacksonville, where this occurred, would be understanding and let her go on the matter. Well they’re not. The city says that she owes the money and the city’s collection agency agrees.
