Teen Lesbian Couple Shot In Texas, One Dead
Mary Christine Chapa an 18-year-old young lady went for a walk on Saturday with her girfriend 19-year-old Mollie Judith Olgin when they were attacked by an unknown assailant.
The young couple from Portland, Texas, were found lying in knee-deep grass at Violet Andrews Park suffering gunshots to the head, both at close range. Olgin did not survive her wounds and Chapa is currently in serious but stable condition.
Police have yet to determine the reason why anyone would want to kill either of the young ladies but they are looking into the fact that the relationship between the two young women may have played a part in the fatal attack.
While they haven’t yet been able to identify the attacker the police believe that the attacker lead the women down a trail to the grass where they were then shot with a large caliber gun.
Mary Christine Chapa is able to communicate but the police haven’t been able to talk with her yet.
