A British Experiment With Soldiers Involved LSD [Video]

A British Experiment With Soldiers Involved LSD

Ya, this is exactly what we want to see happen – armed soldiers under the influence of what was probably some pretty decent quality LSD but lucky for us this happened back in 1963.

The experiment carried out by the British army wanted to find out if LSD could be used in the battlefield to incapacitate enemy soldiers. To find this out they administered LSD to unsuspecting British soldiers and then sent them of on training exercises to see how they would do.

As you can tell from the video the results speaks for themselves, which anyone who has taken acid could have told them.

About the Author

Steven has been around the tech world long enough to see most of the stuff we think of cool happen before which leads to a certain bit of cynicism that has contributed to him being known as the cranky old fart of the Internet. Besides sharing some of the goodness that he finds with you here at 42x you can also find him curating some digital goodness at Winextra (tech type stuff) and Rotten Gumdrops (for your daily dose of WTF).
