The Facebook Message That Shows That Sportsmanship Is Still Alive And Well

Accidents will always happen, some are worse than other and some have consequences that affect other people. Such is the case when during an Olympic triathlon event Canadian Simon Whitfield crashed on his bicycle which is bad enough but in the process it also took Costa Rica’s Leonardo Chacón Corrales out of the race.

One would think that this kind of accident would cause some bad feeling on Corrales’ part but if this message he posted to Whitfield on Facebook is any indication bad feelings are the last thing to cross his mind.

It is things like this that show that sportsmanship is still alive and well, even on an international level like the Olympics.
