Nadya Suleman Tells GMA That Child Protective Services Visit Was ‘A Setup’

Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Octomom Nadya Suleman was visited by her state’s version of Child Protective Services, the California of Department of Family and Children’s Services (DCFS.)

The call about conditions in Octomom’s home was made by Nadya Suleman’s very own hairdresser, a woman known to press simply as Stephanie, after a home visit where the woman allegedly witnessed conditions later described as squalor. Children were allegedly defecating in portable toilets outside and a chair is said to have been wedged against a door, keeping the tots inside from escaping. The whole visit was suspiciously taped by TMZ, who may have gotten a pre-tip off from Stephanie that the famous mom of multiples was about to get a CPS visit after she dropped a dime.

As the TMZ footage begins, Suleman can be heard apologizing “for the graffiti,” and the visit concluded with a follow-up plan but no removal of Octomom’s 14 kids. In a Good Morning America interview, Suleman said, “‘I think maybe me and my kids were set up. We were set up” before explaining that the hairdresser had unreasonable standards for the children’s care.

A cleaning crew was later spotted entering the home of Suleman and her 14 kids, a home which is in danger of being foreclosed upon as soon as next week.
