Police Kill Naked Man Who “Wouldn’t Stop” Eating The Face Off Of The Person He Attacked
Now there’s a headline I don’t imagine anyone was expecting to see this side of a zombie Apocalypse but I kid you not folks.
It seems that at some time around 2 A.M. in Miami, Florida, a series of gunshots were heard around the off ramp for the MacArthur Causeway on Saturday. It was at this point that both a road ranger and a woman witnessed a naked man chewing on the face of another man. While the road ranger used his loud speaker to shout at the man to back away from his ‘snacking’ the woman flagged down a police officer who happened to be in the area.
The currently unidentified police officer came over to the scene and when seeing what was happening ordered the naked man to move away. However the naked man continued to ‘eat’ the victim’s face ignoring the officer’s commands at which point the officer was forced to shoot the naked man.
The first shot did nothing to stop the naked man so the officer had to continue shooting until the man fell dead after what witnesses describe as half a dozen shots.
Miami police were on the scene, which was just south of The Miami Herald building on Biscayne Boulevard. The naked man who was killed lay face down on the pedestrian walkway just below the newspaper’s two-story parking garage. Police have requested The Herald’s video surveillance tapes.
The other man was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, according to police. Their identities were not released.
The incident, which came as crowds descended upon South Beach for the annual Urban Beach Week hip-hop festival, snarled traffic on the causeway for several hours.
In a text message, Javier Ortiz, spokesman for Miami police’s Fraternal Order of Police, said the officer who fired the fatal shots was “a hero.”
