The Moth That Looks Like It Came Out Of A Fairy Tale

Nature is forever proving just how incredible it and this photograph of what is being called a “poodle moth” (it has no scientific name provided at this point) and is part of a pretty incredible Flickr photostream belonging to Dr. Arthur Anker.

When the image first showed up online many were calling a fake but it is indeed real and can be found in Venezuela. Here are a few more images from Dr. Ankers Flickr stream which is definitely worth dropping by is weird and wonderful animal and insect life is up your alley.

About the Author

Steven has been around the tech world long enough to see most of the stuff we think of cool happen before which leads to a certain bit of cynicism that has contributed to him being known as the cranky old fart of the Internet. Besides sharing some of the goodness that he finds with you here at 42x you can also find him curating some digital goodness at Winextra (tech type stuff) and Rotten Gumdrops (for your daily dose of WTF).
